Community Picks

The Community Picks bookshelf is a popular place to find out what other folks in Tucson like to read. It's time to share a few more titles to add to your reserve list!

In the books are usually better than the movie department, Bob recommends Argo by Antonio Mendez - "an excellent historical account." And if you're looking for more in the historical end of things, Maria recommends The Man Who Loved China by Simon Winchester.  She says it is an "eye-opener, very well written and a page turner." We'll go three for three for nonfiction titles this time, John recommends Whitey Bulger - America's Most Wanted Gangster by Kevin Cullen. John is our most prolific reader on the Community Picks bookshelf and he says Whitey Bulger is "an excellent biography, very informative and interesting."
If you want to add your favorite titles to the Community Picks bookshelf, just send an e-mail to Karen.Greene@pima.gov or reply to this blog post.  Happy reading!
